Visit with Us

Come and experience welcome and warmth at Brown Street. We are a small church with an enduring presence in downtown Lafayette, committed to embracing all in community. Whether a long time community member, or passing through town for a season, you can quickly feel a sense of welcome and real belonging as you connect at Brown Street.

Our Streets

We care about our neighbors and seek to be in relationship with those who live around us. Together, we aim to contribute to the health, spiritual well-being, and quality of life experienced in our Historic Jefferson and Lafayette communities.

Our Community Garden

We offer a unique share garden in downtown Lafayette. Having begun in 2014, we now have 30 beds dedicated to providing an abundance of organic produce. By freely sharing the fruits and vegetables, we aim to help relieve the personal ill-health effects of our downtown food desert.

We Seek to Serve

Our church may be small, but our reach is great! We measure success not in terms of numbers but in the interwoven stories of impact and change that God is writing within the context of our community and church family. Each one of us has the capacity to participate in God's story through serving others.

We're Growing in Christ

Here, you can go into more detail about yourself, your project, or your organization. You can talk about how your idea started, how long you’ve been working on it, what it stands for, and why it’s important. The more specific you are, the more visitors can engage with what you do. This is also an opportunity to answer any questions they may have about you or your work.
